Step 1. Draw a large shape.
Start by drawing the basic shape of a rugby ball. Draw a pointed oval that looks like a leaf.
Step 2. Add stripes.
Add curves as shown.
Step 3. Draw the center.
Draw an elongated oval in the middle of the ball. This is the basis of the stitching characteristics of football.
