Step 1

In the first few steps we will use very light lines. So, let’s draw a rectangle and move on to the next step.

Step 2

Now, with the help of simple and very light lines, we separate the legs.

Step 3

Now using clear lines draw the outlines of the shorts. Draw a button and fly. Remove all unnecessary guidelines.

Step 4

Now take out the belt loops, the seams and add some folds like in the example below.

Step 5

Using a dense hatch we add shadows (this will make our shorts look more voluminous).
