Easy Drawing Guides

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

Step 1

You’ll start this first step by drawing the initial guidelines for the graveyard landscape. Start with two wavy lines for the sky background and the ground surface. Next, draw the lining for the roof of the Chapel of the Tomb and then draw the guidelines for all the tombstones and trees.

Step 2

In this step, you will begin to draw the headstones of the cross and the headstone. Make sure you paint them they will rot and age. The one in the back is broken because it’s too old and scary. Draw detailed lines on the base of each headstone so that they look like they are actually embedded in the soil and/or soil.

Step 3

Now you will start sketching the background which is a full moon full of ghosts and some full clouds. There are also hilltops in the background, so be sure to outline them. On the cemetery grounds, you’ll draw some bones and skulls stuck to the ground like you see here. Add a liner for the pieces of grass and then move on to the next step.

Step 4

You will now start working on the archway or door to the small Chapel Tomb like you see here. Be sure to draw at the stairs and then the bold cross up pf the pointed roof top.

Step 5

Now you will draw more hills and grass points. Once that’s done, you can start outlining the graveyard tree on the left. Continue drawing out the structure of the Mausoleum Chapel as you see here.

Step 6

For your final drawing step, you will draw the shingles on the roof as you see drawn for you here. Next complete the lining for the hillside and then add a little detail to the cemetery grounds. Erase all the principles that you drew in step one to clean up your artwork.

Step 7

Here’s what your Halloween-inspired landscape will look like when you’re done. Color it in and you’ve just learned “how to draw a graveyard step by step”.
