Today we think drawing peacock easy for you. So we came up with four peacock drawing tutorials in this drawing lesson. First, if you are looking for the easiest way to draw a peacock, we have a peacock cartoon drawing tutorial. Then there are pencil sketches of peacocks, simple peacock drawings, and beautiful peacock drawings. The peacocks look very brightly colored, but that’s because of the reflection.
You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below
We used the following art supplies in these tutorials:
- 2B, 3B pencils
- Sharpie
- Erasers and sharpener
- Color Pencils
- Color markers
- Paper or sketchbook
Step 1:
Start drawing the peacock’s neck and head. Draw a curved neck with two parallel lines and on it, draw the head in the shape of a bent and pointed beak. Next, draw small and end-pointed vertical lines on top of the head to represent the crest — figure 1.
Step 2:
Extend the right neckline towards the right and then bend sharply towards the left. Extend that bend and create a curve at the end pointing upwards — Figure 2.
Step 3:
In this step we will draw the peacock (tail feathers). Do this by drawing a straight line to the right, starting at the back of the body. Then bend and stretch to the left, again bend and stretch upwards. Then draw a curved line on the right side to draw the front and connect it below the train line. Finally, draw two small lines to represent the origin of the leg — Figure 3.
Step 4:
Start a line below the foot, grab it behind the tail, and draw two branches and leaves — Figure 4.
Step 5:
From the base of the leg, draw parallel lines that closely follow the shape of the leg. Make a bend at the end of each leg in the shape of a claw holding a twig. Then extend the branch line to the right and join it under the train line. Next, draw a trunk on the right side above the train and divide it into two branches with leaves on them. Finally, draw the small oval eyes in the peacock’s train and fill them in, leaving a little transparency (Figure 5.
Step 6:
Draw a parallel line below the branch line — Figure 6.
