Step 1. Draw the flag
First, use a ruler or a straight object to draw a rectangle with a width of 2/3 of its length.
Step 2. Draw a pattern
Draw two overlapping Ys, the outer Y is larger and a distance apart from the inner Y, which is the special symbol of the South African flag.
Step 3. Draw the flagpole
From the edge of the flag, use a ruler to draw two parallel lines for the flagpole, and draw a small circle on top of the flagpole.
Step 4. Color the South African flag
Use black, yellow, green, blue, red and white to color the flag as shown.
