Step 1. First draw a planet on the ground

Let’s start by forming the outline of our home planet, Earth! It’s a terrestrial planet, meaning it’s made up of rock and soil.

Step 2. Sketch the soil formation

Sketch the soil formation on Earth similar to the illustration.

Step 3. Draw the moon

Draw a small full moon orbiting the Earth. Add small curved lines to emphasize its stone texture.

Step 4. Gas Giant’s next form

Next, let’s draw a large circle to outline the gas giant Saturn.

Step 5. Attach the Saturn Ring

Forms an oval ring around the planet Saturn. Add some short curved lines following the shape of the ring. Make sure to delete the parts of the planet that overlap with its rings.

Step 6. Form the structure of Saturn

Draw wavy lines on Saturn’s surface to add some texture to the gas giant.

Step 7. Sketch Saturn’s moons

Draw small circles around Saturn to outline some of its moons.

Step 8. Draw a dwarf planet

Then, form the small circle of the dwarf planet, Pluto. Add wavy lines and heart-shaped outlines to create a unique texture to Pluto’s surface.

Step 9. Complete the drawing of the planets

Let’s add some color to our drawing of the planets! First, use blue, green, and orange crayons to color our home planet, Earth. Next, fill in our moon with a light gray pencil. Now, let’s use shades of orange to color the gas giant, Saturn. Use a light yellow pencil to color its rings and a dark yellow for its moons. Then, use shades of brown to color the dwarf planet, Pluto.
