The first book, Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes, is the story of a cat whose white shoes are mixed with various substances he enters, but “Pete never loses his composure. his stillness”. Written into a song, its chorus is “I love my white shoes”, which translates into “I love my red shoes”, “I love my blue shoes”, and “I love my brown shoes”. mine”. Then he stepped into a bucket of water and the colors washed away, and they became wet, but still never losing his cool, he just sang his song.
Older students may find that this tutorial includes a small view as Pete’s shoes are closer and larger than those on his back foot. Younger artists can focus on just making the shoes fit. As Pete would say, “All is well.”
