Step 1. Sketch the Marshmallow Shell
Sketch the shape of the marshmallow shell by drawing a rectangle with rounded corners. Note that if you are not using a pencil, leave some space in the bottom left corner to draw the marshmallow outside the packaging later.
Step 2. Draw the packaging design
Draw the packaging design of the shell by creating two wavy lines.
Step 3. Write the text
Write the text “GUMMY CANDY” on the packaging.
Step 4. Add the stick with the marshmallow attached
Add the stick to the packaging design by drawing the line as shown.
Attach the marshmallow to the stick on the packaging by creating a rectangle with rounded corners. Then, draw a curve connecting the two corners of the marshmallow as shown in the illustration to make it look 3D. Make sure to erase the parts of the stick that overlap the marshmallow.
Step 5. Draw the Marshmallows
Draw a marshmallow by creating a rectangle with rounded corners as before. Next, draw a curve that forms the flat surface of the marshmallow. Fill the right side of the wrapper with marshmallows as shown.
Step 6. Draw the marshmallows outside the wrapper
Add a few marshmallows placed outside the wrapper as shown.
Step 7. Finish the marshmallow drawing
Let’s finish our marshmallow illustration. First, color the background of the wrapper with red and blue crayons. Next, color the marshmallows with white crayons. Use orange crayons to shade the sides of the marshmallows. Now, color the stick with brown crayons. Then, add shading to your drawing with purple crayons as shown.
