Prepare, Gather your materials

You will need a piece of paper, pencil, eraser, and optionally a ruler.

Step 1: Start drawing Islands

First, More details about the Greek islands. Famous islands include Crete, Rhodes, Corfu and Lesbos and many other smaller islands located in the east and south of the country. They can be represented by simple shapes appropriately placed in the Aegean and Ionian Seas.

Step 2: Sketch the east side

Draw a diagonal line from the bottom right corner of the paper to the northwest, meeting the north border.
Connect the south end of this line to the lower right corner using a curved line. This will complete the outline for the eastern border.

Step 3: Sketch the South

From the lower end of the horizontal line draw a slightly curved line going down to the bottom edge of the paper. This will be the outline for Greece’s southern border.

Step 4: Sketch the West and North

Draw a diagonal line from the bottom left corner of the paper to the northeast, meeting the north border you drew earlier. This will represent the western border.
Connect the south end of this line to the lower left corner using a curved line. This will complete the outline for the western border.
Draw a slightly curved line from the left end of the horizontal line to the lower left corner of the paper. This will represent the northwest border.
Reflect this line to the right of the horizontal line, representing the northeast border.

Step 5. Draw more details

To make it more prominent and easily recognizable, we draw a cross-shaped flag on the map as shown.

Step 6. Color the map

Use blue to color the flag background and the flag symbol we leave in white.
