Step 1
Draw a circle for her head and then add guide lines on the face. Next, draw a loop around the head shape for her cowboy hat and then move down a bit to start the other shapes. You will need to create two more circles for her torso and waist. From those shapes, you’ll draw guide lines for the legs and then the arms.
Step 2
You can start sketching Jessie’s face starting with her face shape. Once done, you can draw her eye line as well as her bangs. Draw an ear and detail the inside.
Step 3
Sketch the shape of Jessie’s torso including the arms and all. You have to give some shape to her arms as you draw them out.
Step 4
This is where the real fun begins. Now you will start sketching the brim of Jessie cowboy hat. When you do this it will take your time as the hem is lined with stitching as you can see here. Once you’ve finished the hat, you can sketch out the rest of Jessie’s face starting with her parted bangs. Add eyebrows and then outline her beautiful eyes. Draw a nose and then a friendly smile for her mouth. Next, draw the initial lining for her braids and then paint the details on her rodeo clothing.
Step 5
Complete the torso and start working on her waist. Draw the belt and then end her arms and hands. At the bottom of the sleeves and cuffs, so you’ll need to pull out as well.
Step 6
Add some detail to her cuffs and then draw the shape of her legs and or pants as you see them here. Her pants are flared pants so keep them in mine when sketching them.
Step 7
All you have to do here is draw the rest of her pants and boots, then draw a bull mark on her pants. You will also need to color these patches. Once that’s done, you can start erasing all the principles and shapes that you drew in step one.
Step 8
This is what your cowgirl will look like when you’re done. Color her and you just learned “how to draw Jessie from Toy Story 2 step by step”.
