This drawing lesson is dedicated to portraying a character many of you are already familiar with. In addition, this lesson will help you practice drawing portraits of people, as well as their features and facial expressions. The ability to portray different emotions on the face of a person or a character is very important for any artist.
One Punch Man is a Japanese manga and webcomic. The main character, nicknamed One Punch Man, is the strongest character in the series. He faces an existential crisis, as he is now too powerful to derive any thrill from the battle. He initially pursues heroism as a hobby, then registers as a professional hero with the Hero Association when he realizes that no one recognizes him as a hero. In the Association of Heroes, he is named the hero Bald Cloak. The character appears as a normal bald man with a thin but well-proportioned body, of average height and weight. His eyes are dark brown.
Please note that the Odin Punch Man that you will draw in this tutorial is depicted in cartoon style. So his head looks pretty big compared to his body size. The finished drawing will turn out to be quite cute and funny. Denki Kaminari Drawing Step by Step
Step 1. Draw the outline of the One Punch Man’s head.
To complete this step, you need to draw a distorted oval with a curved line.
Step 2. Add the character’s facial features.
Draw eyes, eyebrows and mouth inside the outline of the head.
Step 3. Sketch the One Punch Man’s ears.
On either side of the head, draw symmetrical ears using incomplete ovals of the same size.
Step 4. Sketch the upper body of the character.
Below the head, draw the upper part of the arm and the outline of the suit using curved lines.
Step 5. Add the outline of the character’s costume.
Now you should draw your character’s cape with curves and waves.
Step 6. Draw decorative elements for the dress.
Add two circles of different sizes, some straight lines, and two arcs at the top of the torso.
Step 7. Start drawing the character’s legs.
Below the body, depict two symmetrical legs with curved lines of different lengths.
Step 8. Draw shoes and gloves for the character.
Draw the gloves symmetrically on the hands using curved lines, the boots at the bottom.
Step 9. Color the drawing.
To color the One Punch Man, use beige, gray, purple and mustard.
