Step 1
This will be a very simple drawing tutorial. The first thing you want to do is draw a large triangle for the sail and then a rectangle for the hull. Make one more long vertical line in the center of the sail and move on to the next step.
Step 2
In this second step, you will draw two diagonal vertical lines that will be the ropes attached to the rod. Draw another short vertical line coming from the top of the mast and connect it to the curve to the left, which will eventually be the head. Add some shapes and details to the top of the hull and then move on.
Step 3
As you can see after doing this third step, your two sails will start to come apart. Start at the top of the mast and outline more lines for the top. You want to make the sail look like it’s being blown by the wind, so make sure the lines twist into them. Draw the lining for the bottoms of both sails, then add lines and detailed lines to the hull design.
Step 4
You have made it to step four and step four is the final drawing step. Here you’ll add some detailed design to the cable and then when you’re done you can thicken the wire that attaches to the rod. Once done draw the upper part of the hull and add a similar wheel shape to the right. Erase any visible rules and shapes and move on to the finished product.
Step 5
