Step 1

Start with two guide shapes for the head and body. Outline in the instructions as well.

Step 2

Using the head/face guide shape, start drawing the actual structure for the head and face. Notice how the lining is angled to the shape of the face and the small spot on the back of the head.

Step 3

Now we will draw Deadpool’s face. Start with almost diamond-like patterns that real eyes will be drawn on. When that’s done, draw the real eyes. Next, draw the lining seam for the mask and add details under each eye.

Step 4

Here we will create the neck and shoulders. Add a collar to the garment and then draw the lining seam again to create a leather look.

Step 5

Draw a border around the outer shapes of such a mask, then add lining stitching on the shoulders to complete the drawing. Clear the errors and instructions as well.

Step 6

This is line art. All you need to do now is color Deadpool’s red and black suit.
