You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

Step 1

Start by drawing Daffy’s eyes. First, draw two large ovals or eggs. Fill in a smaller circle inside each circle to represent the pupil. Draw two curved lines for the eyebrows and add two lines for the sides of the head.

Step 2

Draw curved lines of different lengths on the top of the head. Allow them to meet at points, forming a plume of feathers.

Then use curved lines to draw the beak. Notice how the top of the beak follows the curvature of the eye in a wide “W” shape. You also need to pay attention to the overlap of the upper and lower parts, as well as the short lines at the corners of the mouth.

Step 3

Complete the beak by drawing a curved line that doubles as itself. Below the eyes, shade two small ovals to indicate the nostrils.

Then, extend parallel lines below the head to form the neck, and wrap the neck with two horizontal lines. Draw “U” shaped lines at the base of the neck to add a feathered texture.

Step 4

Use overlapping curved lines to outline the upper part of the arm and upturned hand. Notice the overlapping lines at the base of the thumb and form the fingers.

Step 5

Use curved lines to outline the lower part of the arm. Note the short lines that meet at jagged points at the elbows, creating the texture of a plume of feathers. Then start outlining the other arm, again noting the hairs at the elbow.

Step 6

Perfect the arms, hands and fingers using long and short curves.

Step 7

Use a series of curved lines to outline Daffy’s body. Notice the tufts of hair on the chest and on the tips of the legs.

Step 8

Start drawing Daffy’s legs and feet. Start with an “L” shaped line and add a short curved line to the bottom end.

Step 9

DO curves to complete the foot and leg. Note the lettering “W” at the tips of the toes. Outline the other leg using curved lines, forming a mirror image of the first leg.

Step 10

Color your Daffy Duck cartoon. He has black fur, a white ring around his neck, and yellow paws and beak.
