You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below
Step 1
Okay, let’s start this first step by drawing out the guides and shapes to frame Emily. Start by making a small circle for his head and then add guide lines on the face. You will then make a line for his neck and then draw shapes for his torso and then the long shape of her bridal gown. Add detailed instructions and then final shapes to her foot or shoe.
Step 2
In the next step you will start drawing her face shapes like the two eye sockets and then add the shape of her narrow and small jaw. Give her a mouth and then start drawing the shapes of her bony arms and hands as shown. Next, add lines for her hair and then the detailed shape of her breasts and the outfit on both the hip area and the flare at the bottom. You will also shape the socks.
Step 3
Now to make Emily look pretty, you will sketch her hairstyle by drawing the shape of her side parted bangs and then sketching her long flowing curls. Then you will line your eyes and shrink the nose. Then draw her long barrel shape and then place an incision in the center of her gown and then shape the edges to make them look eye-catching.
Step 4
As you can see this “zombie bride” looks more like herself. You will start detailing her hair in this step and then add more expressive lines to her face by adding her eyebrows and pupils and you will also detail her lips. You’ll start detailing the top of her dress by drawing out the hem around the edges and then detailing the bottom of the dress as shown. Once that’s done, you can start detailing her bones like her arms, then her legs and arms.
Step 5
Well, you’ve made it to your final drawing step. Is that too hard to do? You will now finish off your “corpse bride” by adding to the top of her barrel as well as dead flowers. The next detail is her eyes, she has some nice looking eyelashes and then adds definition to her hair. You will then outline her left exposed rib. Now you will draw the length of the barrel and make sure the edges are the same as the old hair or degrees. Detail the bottom of the dress and then draw the rest of her bony legs, socks and shoes. You can start erasing all the rules that you drew in step one.
Step 6
And here we have it. You are done. All you have to do is color her and make her look like she sent a few years underground. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial on how to draw Emily from Corpse Bride step by step. I’ll be back with more in a bit so stay tuned.
