Step 1. Form the base
Shape the base of the Burj Khalifa by drawing stacks of thin rectangles similar to the illustration.
Step 2. Draw the outermost structure
Start building the main structure of the skyscraper by forming four vertical cylinders.
Step 3. Add taller structure
Add three taller cylinders similar to the illustration.
Step 4. Form observatories
Form thinner vertical cylinders above the drawn structures to build skyscraper observation decks.
Step 5. Add horizontal patterns
Draw horizontal strips to add pattern to the walls of the skyscraper.
Step 6. Complete the Burj Khalifa drawing
It’s time to add some bright colors to our Burj Khalifa drawing! First, color the base and horizontal strips with a dark blue pencil. Next, shade the main structure of the skyscraper with a lighter blue color. Then add some shadow to the middle of the building using a dark blue pencil.
