Step 1. Shape the walls

First, draw three vertical lines to form the walls of the house. Next, add a rectangular base at the bottom.

Step 2. Draw the roof

Draw a triangular and trapezoidal roof attached to the top part of the wall.

Step 3. Add Windows with shutters

Start by drawing the rectangular outline of the windows. Then, attach shutters on each side of the window as shown.

Step 4. Draw more Windows

Form arched windows with window sills attached to the bottom. Add the window’s grid by drawing one vertical line and two horizontal lines.

Step 5. Shape the door and stairs

Draw a rectangular outline with a vertical line down the middle to form the front door. Add two smaller rectangles to draw the window. Then add the stairs by drawing a stack of rectangles below the door.

Step 6. Complete the drawing of the Victorian house

Let’s color our drawing of a Victorian house! First, shade the roof with a red pencil. Next, fill the window glass with a light blue pencil. Now, color the window sill as well as the door and window frames with a dark brown pencil. Use a lighter brown color to tint the shutters and windows. After that, paint the walls of the house with cream colored pens. Finally, color the base of the house with a dark gray pencil and the stairs with a light gray pencil.
