Stone Mill Drawing step by step
Step 1: Sketch the Top of the Mill
Start by drawing an oval shape to represent the top surface of the stone mill, as shown in the illustration.
Step 2: Create the Upper Stone Block
From the oval, draw two slightly curved vertical lines on each side, then connect them with a curved line at the bottom to form a cylinder. This will be the upper grinding stone.
Step 3: Draw the Lower Stone Block
Below the first cylinder, draw another similar shape to create the lower stone block. The method is almost the same as in Step 2.
Step 4: Add Details
Add some curved lines and small marks on both stone blocks to create a rough, natural stone texture.
On the top surface, draw a curved inner line to give it depth. Then, add a small oval inside it to represent the grain hole.
Make sure this hole is slightly off-center, not exactly in the middle, so the mill can function realistically.
Step 5: Draw the Handle
On the side of the upper stone, draw an L-shaped handle. This handle is used to rotate the mill and grind the grains.
Step 6: Color the Drawing
Finally, color your drawing. Use gray tones for the stone, a darker shade for the hole, and brown for the handle, as it is usually made of wood.
