Step 1
Despite the fact that this is a mythical horse, it is generally drawn like an ordinary horse. Let’s start with the skeleton of our pegasus. First of all, let’s outline the head as a circle. Then outline the muzzle and the neckline. Next draw the contours of the chest and pelvis. At the end of the step, we outline the pins.
Step 2
Now we need to add some volume to the body of the pegasus. First of all draw the ears and the eyeliner on the head. Draw more neck that extends to the chest. Next, connect the chest and pelvis, forming the body. Outline the legs, try to duplicate all the curves like in our example. At the end of the step, outline the wings and tail.
Step 3
Now let’s work with the final details. Use clear and dark lines to draw the contours of the head. Next carefully draw the eyes, nose, and mouth. Don’t forget to delete instructions from our pegasus head. Also, don’t forget to add a few creases on top to make it more realistic.
Step 4
Continue the lesson on how to draw the pegasus. In this step we finish drawing the head. Draw the ears and with the help of wavy lines draw the mane. We drew a rather short mane, but to make it more epic you can draw a long or fiery mane.
Step 5
Now let’s draw the wings. Draw some rows of feathers. Note that the feathers near the edge of the wing will be larger than the rest. In the same step, use clear and bold lines to draw the forelegs and remove all unnecessary lines from the legs and wings.
Step 6
We need to do the same now too, but for the hind body of the horse, i.e. using clear and dark lines, we will need to draw the hind legs and the tail. To make the tail more realistic, use slightly curved and long lines. Don’t forget to remove all unnecessary tutorials from our pegasus drawing, so that the finished drawing is clean and beautiful.
Step 7
To make our Pegasus look more realistic we need to add some shadows. We drew the ball, which is similar to the one in a comic book. That is, it is the dark and contrasting areas of darkness. But you can create more shadows, like in the lesson about the fierce wolf.
