How to draw a Melon step-by-step
Step 1. Start Drawing the Cut of the Melon
First, draw a small crescent-shaped curve. This will be the sweet, juicy inside of a melon.
Step 2. Add the details of the cut of the melon
Add a larger curve to complete the slice.
Step 3. The Peel
Next, add the bottom curve to form the rind.
Step 4. Sketch the Melon
Draw a large circle in the middle of your paper. This will be the outer shape of the melon. Notice that it is hidden behind the slice you just drew.
Step 5. Add the Stem
Now, draw a stem above the circle of the melon.
Step 6. Add the Melon Texture
Add diagonal lines to the melon rind. This texture is characteristic of cantaloupes.
Step 7. Finish Your Drawing
Grab your coloring tools and shade the melon and the cut melon!
