Step 1
First draw the head with a curve will be your gill. Be sure to draw the lower lip farther than the upper lip to create lips pouting characteristic of black grouper.
Step 2
Now bring your fish to life by drawing its face. Create the eye by drawing a small circle inside a larger circle. Make the mouth wrinkled with three lines.
Step 3
Black grouper has a simple football body. Achieve this shape by drawing two lines that reflect each other. Leave a space between the two lines for the tail.
Step 4
The tail is a short fan shape. Draw small lines to show the ripples of the tail.
Step 5
Next, draw the upper fins. The upper fin should start in the middle of the fish. Draw the first fin with a much lower arch than the second and add two lines to each fin for details.
Step 6
Then draw the three lower fins. Draw an open oval connected to the bearing. At the tail, draw a small circle and attach to the lower body carrying a pointed fin. Each one of these fins should have lines added for details.
