Step 1
Create a shape like the one you see here, then add a guide in the middle. This will be the base layer for your rose.
Step 2
Start this step by drawing such a simple opening. The end is pointed and so is the top.
Step 3
Start drawing the petals, making sure that the outline is like the one you see here. Edges must be slashed or torn.
Step 4
Next, sketch another part of a rose petal. The petal should begin to fold as it will rest on the petal below. Take your time as you sketch this rose to proper precision.
Step 5
Again, sketch more rose petals and this time you can see the rose start to get bigger and wider.
Step 6
Outline the rounded base. Then you will add the opening for the rose petals downstairs. Outline in definition to bring a regular outline rose to bloom.
Step 7
You are almost done people. Continue with the same rose petals. As you can see now there are three petals instead of one or two. Add details to the edges, then you’re done.
Step 8
Finally, outline the rest of the rose petals like so. Take your time as this is the bedding or background of your roses. Add details and definitions accordingly. Erase such mistakes and instructions.
Step 9
When you’re done, here’s how the rose looks like. Of course, if you use a pencil and you sketch, the rose will look more realistic. Color in your flowers and that’s it.
