Step 1
In order for our character to be proportionate and smooth, the first thing we need to do is draw his skeleton. The skeleton will be the basis for our future drawings. We have to start with the head, drawing it in the form of an oval. Next, outline the spine using a simple line. On the line of the spine draw the chest and pelvis. Next outline the arms and legs and move on to the next step.
Step 2
Now we need to give some volume to the body of our Cable. But first sketch two lines that intersect exactly at the center of the face. Next, outline the neck and torso, which narrows at the waist. Step 3
Now, let’s add the most basic details. Moving from the top, first outline the hair, eyes, mouth and nose. The main feature of Cable’s face is his bright eyes. Now add the details of the clothes, as shown in our example.
Step 4
The basic shapes are ready, starting with this step we will work with the final details. With the help of clear and dark lines draw the contours of the hair. Next draw detailed facial features. Draw angled contours on our character’s face.
Step 5
Now let’s move on to the body of the Cable. Gently draw the neck. Next move lower and draw pectoral muscles. Next, draw the parts of the garment located on the sides of the torso. Then draw the belt with a buckle and pocket. At the end of the step, remove all unnecessary instructions from the body.
Step 6

Step 7
Now let’s move on to the lower body of our Cable. Discard all remaining guides and draw the contours of the pants and details of the garment on the lower body. As you draw the legs, don’t forget to note the contours of the leg muscles under the clothes. Add all the necessary seams and folds as shown in our example.
Step 8
So the Cable drawing is almost ready and we just need to add the finishing touches and paint some shadows. First of all, take care of the darkest shadows. We will need to paint them in solid black. Now, use bloom to add brighter shadows. Using short lines draw the hair on the chest and arms.
