How to Draw Mario Kart with this how-to video and step-by-step drawing instructions. This lesson will take about 15 minutes. You will start by sketching the lines, then add a little shading to make the drawing look nice.

Mario Kart Drawing step by step
Step 1. Draw the Hat Shape
First draw Mario’s hat, creating his signature hat shape. Now, draw a circle with an “M” in the middle.
Step 2. Draw the Face
Sketch the shape of Mario’s head and draw the ears. Add a big round nose. Now, draw a pair of oval eyes and thick eyebrows. Then, shape the mustache below the nose. Add the hair.
Step 3. Add the Hands on the Steering Wheel
Draw the curve of the steering wheel above the front of the kart. Next, shape his gloved hands gripping the sides of the steering wheel. Then, sketch the arms, connecting the hands to the base of the head.
Step 4. Sketch the Kart’s Front and Legs
Draw an angular shape for the hood. Next, sketch the top and front bumper.
Then draw the legs and the saddle behind him.
Step 5. Draw Side Panels, Tires, and Exhaust Pipes
Draw the box-shaped side panels of the kart between the front and rear tires. Now, attach the bumpers to the base of the panels. Then, erase the overlapping lines.
Add cylindrical tires to the sides as shown. Inside each tire, draw a slightly smaller circle to outline the wheels. Then, add small round hub caps in the middle of each wheel.
At the back of the kart, draw a long cylindrical exhaust pipe.
Add an “M” on the front fender of the kart to complete the drawing.
Step 6. Color the Mario kart drawing
First, use peach for Mario’s skin. Color his hair, eyebrows, mustache, and shoes brown. Next, color his eyes, steering wheel, and tires black. Use yellow for the saddle and wheels. Next, use white to color Mario’s rims and gloves. Color his overalls blue. Then, color the “M” logo on the white circle background red. Use red to color Mario’s hat, shirt, the front and sides of the car. Finally, use shades of gray for the exhaust, bumpers and the top of the car.
