Prepare
You will need paper, pencils, erasers, and colored pencils or markers in blue, gray, and yellow tones.
Step 1. Start at the top of the flagpole
Draw a small circle for the top of the flagpole.
Step 2. complete the flagpole
Complete the flagpole by drawing two parallel lines from the small circle down to form the flagpole.
Step 3: Draw a rectangle
Start by drawing a large rectangle on your paper. Make sure it is longer horizontally than vertically. You can draw the flag with wavy edges as shown to make it look like the flag is flying.
Step 4: Add a cross
In the middle of the flag, draw a cross making sure the center of the shape is even closer to the flagpole. The width of the cross should be about one-fifth the width of the flag.
Step 5: Color the flag
Color the flag background blue, yellow the cross, and gray the flagpole.
