Step 1
Alright, let’s go through some guidelines first. These two ovals will become the base of Lapras’ body and head.
Step 2
Right after that, make a mark in front of the head and horns. Notice how the tip of the jaw touches the horizontal line and the tip of the nose touches the body guide line.
Step 3
Next, draw the rest of the head and jaw.
Step 4
In this step, we will draw Lapras’ neck and front flippers. Notice how the flippers are placed forward in the oval center of the body.
Step 5
Across the horizontal center of the oval body, draw a wavy line that will be the square of the shell, plus the sharp points protruding from the shell.
Step 6
Okay, this is just to add a few more details to what we’ve worked on so far. Draw strokes on the face, noting that the eyes are in the center of the circle. You can also curve the top of the case and bevel around the bottom.
Step 7
The final step is to draw Lapras’ hind legs and tail. Notice how both the rear flippers start and end touching the body guide.
