Astronaut Drawing

So I am happy to bring to your attention this wonderful and very useful drawing lesson in which I will tell and show you how to draw a shelf step by step. This simple tutorial consists of only seven steps, each with a detailed description.

I’ve created this lesson specifically for beginner and child artists, so when you’re done with it, you won’t run into overly complicated elements. This lesson will help you practice drawing lines as well as obeying the rules of symmetry. After learning how to draw a piece of furniture such as a shelf, you will be able to depict it in the future as an element of any interior that you have drawn.

A shelf is a piece of furniture without a front wall, with or without a back wall, designed to hold books and other items and souvenirs. Shelves are made from various materials such as solid wood, glass, mirror, metal, stone and others. They can be equipped with various accessories, such as LED lights. The shelves are hung on the wall with the help of various screws, both hidden and decorative.

By the end of this drawing lesson, you can fully practice drawing geometric shapes. This figure also contains many lines. To draw more beautiful and neat, you can use the ruler as needed.

Shelf Drawing Step by Step

Step 1. Draw the contours of the front edge of the shelf.
To complete this step, you need to draw two horizontal lines of the same length.

Step 2. Finish drawing the front of the shelf.
Use two short vertical lines to join the ends of the previously drawn lines.

Step 3. Add the top price line.
Above the previously drawn lines, draw a horizontal line, as shown in the figure.

Step 4. Draw the side edges of the shelf.
Using two diagonal lines, connect the ends of the horizontal line and the rectangle.

Step 5. Start drawing the shelf.
Below the drawn elements draw lines of different lengths, as shown in the figure.

Step 6. Finish drawing the shelf.
Draw two vertical lines of the same length to complete the shelf.

Step 7. Color the drawing.
