The shape of this pattern depends on the type of plant, the direction of cutting, and where the plant grows. And the color of the texture depends on the color of the wood.

Wood Texture Drawing Step by Step

Step 1. Draw small tree rings.
To complete this step, draw three oblong oval-like shapes.

Step 2. Add larger loops.
Around the drawn shapes, draw several curved lines of different lengths.

Step 3. Continue painting the wood texture.
You should now draw several curves of different thicknesses, as shown in the figure.

Step 4. Add some more lines.
Around the tree rings drawn earlier, add a few curves.

Step 5. Finish painting the wood grain.
