Solar System Drawing Step by Step
Step 1. Create the Frame
First, we need to create a frame for our solar system drawing using a rectangle so that its edges are close to the edge of the drawing paper.
Step 2. Create the Sun
Start by drawing a large circle of the sun. Next, draw a sharp outline around the edges of the sun to form the sun’s rays.
Step 3. Draw the Planets
Now, draw circles on each orbital path. Don’t forget to add rings around Saturn and Uranus as shown.
Step 4. Sketch the Orbital Paths
Draw eight curved lines around the sun to form the orbital paths.
Step 5. Add Texture
Add some texture to the surface of the planets by drawing wavy and curved lines as shown.
Step 6. Finish the Solar System Drawing
Let’s bring our Solar System drawing to life! First, color the Sun, Jupiter, and Saturn in shades of yellow and orange. Next, use light blue to color Mercury. Now, use a cream crayon to color Venus. Then, use blue and green crayons for our home planet, Earth. Use light blue shades to color Uranus and Neptune. For the asteroid belt, use a light gray crayon.
Finally, color a small oval between Mars and Jupiter to form the asteroid belt.
