Step 1
Let’s start by drawing the shapes and body guides to form the frame for Mavis’ body. The head shape is quite round and the body and bottom are also rounded.
Step 2
Here you will use the head shape to draw the structure of Mavis’s face. When that’s done, you can draw her hairstyle starting with the secondary ebangs. Notice how the bangs are drawn into a point.
Step 3
Start with her face and one thing that is noticeable on Mavis’s face is her big blue eyes. Draw them in and when you’re done, draw her black smile and then her nose.
Step 4
Finishing Mavis’s hair. It’s not long, it’s not short. It is of medium length. Add the eye bags in the back and then add the shape of her neck and shoulders. Don’t be afraid to outline her hair in detail.
Step 5
Now we can work on her body. Draw the arms, hands, chest and some on the back. Take your time, don’t rush. Draw the sleeves too.
Step 6
Mavis wears a one-piece dress, so draw the length of the dress and then draw her long slender legs. Notice how they are crossed over each other for a playful pose.
Step 7
Finish off the body by painting Mavis or Converse sneakers in red. At this stage, they look more like socks.
Step 8
Now you’ll turn those socks into Converse and the legs into striped leggings. Clear errors and instructions.
