Step 1
Start this first step by drawing the shape of Spyros’s head as a circle and then adding guides on the face. You will also draw lines for its horns and then a curved line for its neck. Next, draw an egg shape for the body and then the limbs as shown in the image below. From the limb shapes, you valve, then draw the limb guides as well as the lines for the wings and tail.
Step 2
In this next step you will start drawing the facial structure of Spyros’ face starting with the upper eyebrow. This is just a wide smile line shape. From this shape, you will draw the lining for the face and muzzle as well as two small humps for the nostrils. Next draw the shape of the nape and continue that lining to draw the shape of the wings and tail. You will = next start sketching in the shape of the leg and foot as well as the right ear.
Step 3
As you can see, you will continue to work on Spyro’s facial structure. First you will draw the shape of the eye circles, then detail the nostrils and give him a wicked grin. On the left side of his face in the distance draw the shape of his left wing and then the front of his chest. At the end of the chest line you will draw the shape of the hind limb as well as draw the thick shape of the leg and give him some toes. Detail his wings as shown and then thicken his tail a bit.
Step 4
As you can see by the time you get to the top of the page, this step Spyro has already started in starter form. In this step you will start drawing frills on the top of his head as well as give him some eyeballs. You will then detail his mouth and muzzle and suggest him a tooth. Draw a long curved median that stares from below his chin and ends at the side of the right front leg. Detail both wings as shown and then draw the rest of the left front leg. Finally, you will pull out the claw and give it some spikes on the tail as well as an arrow for the head.
Step 5
All you will be doing in this final drawing step is detailing the horn and stomach with a series of lines. You’ll also draw detailed lines above the brows to add definition. Give more depth to the right wing and draw stripes on the belly. Erase all the principles and shapes that you drew in step one.
Step 6
