Step 1
Draw an egg shape for his head, and then add another shape for his torso as you see here. Add guides for the face, torso, and hands.
Step 2
You can now start sketching Rey Mysterio’s mask as you see here. Don’t forget to draw the shape of the full lips and the shape of the chin.
Step 3
Now it’s time to start sketching the designs on his mask. This includes crosses and all decorations. Don’t forget to outline the eyes and mouth.
Step 4
Add some shade around the eyes like you see here. This will add depth and texture. Do the same thing on the mouth and on the lips. This is very easy to do, all you have to keep in mind is that you are trying to lightly shade these areas to add detail and clarity.
Step 5
Believe it or not, you’re almost done. All you need to do now is sketch out the actual shape of his upper body as you see it, including the size of his arms and hands.
Step 6
For your final drawing step, you will first start out sketching all the details that will form his chest, pectoral muscles and then draw into his glove as you see here. Color and or shade them as you see here. Also, draw the tattoo to make this sketch look a bit more realistic. You can also start erasing the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.
Step 7
Here’s how he looks when you’re done. Just color him if you like, or leave this famous wrestler as a sketch. One thing is for sure, you did a great job.
