Step 1
To start drawing, you will first need to create a rounded triangle, which will be Mr. Krabs’ body.
Step 2
On top of his head, give Mr. Krabs two long eyes. His eyes should be nearly as long as his torso, with three small eyelashes on each.
Step 3
On either side of Mr. Krabs’ body, give him two skinny arms with large claws at the ends. As you can see in the image on the left, his arms are facing outwards and slightly bent back to make his claws look like they are resting on his body.
Step 4
Right under his eyes, give Mr. Krabs a smile. Also in this step, draw his signature curved nose.
Mr. Krabs’ legs are nothing more than tiny stumps, as shown in the image to the left.
Step 5
Now that you have completed his body, you can start dressing Mr. Krabs.
First, we’ll draw his pants, by drawing a cut through his belly and the cuffs on each side of his legs.
Give him a big belt, and fly, and his pants are done.
Step 6
All it took to make Mr. Krabs’ shirt was to add a “V” necklace around his neck and give him a few sleeves on his arms.
Don’t forget to give Mr. Krabs the little ledge on the back of his neck.
Step 7
As you can see, all that’s really left to do is darken his loins and eyes, and Mr. Krabs is done!
Give him some color if you want – for timing reasons, I don’t.
