Step 1
Start with a circle for the head and then draw the lining that will form the shoulders, arms and torso like so. Morrigan was standing upright, leaning slightly back. Add face guides and continue.
Step 2
The first thing you will do here is outline her face shape, and then start drawing her bangs first. The bangs are spaced and pointed.
Step 3
Using a face guide that you drew in step one, you’ll start drawing the shape of her eyes, and then draw her eyebrows. Her upper eyelid should be thick and bold. Add some lashes, and then make a simple dash for the nose and mouth.
Step 4
What you’re going to do here is draw Morrigan’s long straight hair blowing in the wind. The ends of her hair are spaced that way, and then she places these shorter sections closer to her face.
Step 5
All you have to do here is outline her neck, shoulders and top part of her torso which is also the shape of her breasts. You can also draw some of her right arm as well as draw the line through her arm which is part of her top.
Step 6
Sketch the other side, and make sure it’s not too big. Morrigan’s character is said to have huge breasts. Once done, start drawing the upper lapels and you can see the lining looks soft, almost like feathers. Very lightly sketch her collarbone and some of the breast mucosa near the armpit.
Step 7
Just draw her left arm and hand like that, then remember to add that point on top of her hand as part of the sock.
Step 8
Now you will repeat the same process by drawing on her right arm, but as you can see the hand is cut off in the picture. Add some definition to her socks, and then continue to step nine.
Step 9
You’re almost done, just a little more to go. Outline her body and as you can see this pose is very erotic. Make sure the hips are wide and the waist is high. There is a gouged heart on top of her and this is like a hole that will expose her flesh.
Step 10
And finally, you will have to draw both sets of wings. I’ll start with the smaller wings first and notice how they look like bats. Draw small wings on either side of her head, and then draw demon wings on her back like that. Erase all the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.
Step 11
This is what your demon girl will look like when you’re done. Now you can go ahead and color her to really make the shape stand out. I hope you all had fun drawing Morrigan from Darkstalker.
