Step 1
Start with the head and body guides, then outline the face guides.
Step 2
In this step, you will outline the shape of Merdia’s face. Not all ways only partial will be displayed.
Step 3
Next, use the face guides to draw her rather large eyes. This must be a thick primer for beautiful long lashes. Add the bridge of her nose too.
Step 4
Now that her eye base has been drawn in, you can perfect them by adding real eyeballs. Fill in the pupil, then draw and shade in the eyebrow. Don’t forget the line above the eyes or eyelids.
Step 5
All you have to do here is draw Merida’s nose and then her mouth or lips. I love the way her lips open up.
Step 6
As you know Merida has a very beautiful long curly hair. We’ll start drawing her hair starting with the curls that frame her face. Also draw two loose curls on her forehead.
Step 7
Continue with long, curly and full body hair. Merida has very thick hair so remember not to draw it too lame.
Step 8
Now you can draw on her neck, then her shoulders and arms.
Step 9
All you have to do here is draw on her chest, which you can see is not overdone. Add a neckline to her dress, then draw some lines in the back of her.
Step 10
For your final drawing step, the task is simple. Add all the curls to give texture to Merida’s hair. Also add a section for the scalp. Take your time to make her beautiful. Erase any mistakes you’ve made, along with instructions.
