You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

Step 1

To get started with Marceline, first draw a rather large oval and a larger bean-shaped oval below it. This will be Marceline’s head and body respectively.
Draw a very thin neck connecting these two shapes.

Next, erase the boundaries between Marceline’s head, neck, and body.

Step 2

To keep Marceline looking like a scary vampire, she has very long, thin legs. Draw two very thin legs, each about the same length as her entire head and torso combined.

Step 3

The same rules apply to Marceline’s arms – very long and thin. Draw one of Marceline’s arms at a slight angle just to give her an extra interesting pose.

Step 4

Next, draw a small “V” shape across each of her legs and a few serrations under her feet to complete Marceline’s boots.

Step 5

To start doing Marceline’s hair, start drawing her hair just a little above the top of her head. Draw some long curved lines down to her shoulders.

Step 6

Finish off Marceline’s hair by extending those jagged lines to touch her boots.

Step 7

Like most characters in Adventure Time, Marceline has a very simple face, with only two small dots for the eyes and an oval shape for the mouth.

Of course, don’t forget to credit Marceline with two vampire bites on her neck.

Step 8

To complete Marceline’s outfit, draw a line across the waist to divide the pants from the shirt and draw another curve around the neck for her shirt collar.

Step 9

Give her a few little fangs and Marceline is almost done.

Step 10

Color Marceline and add her to your Adventure Time collection!
