Step 1
There are only five steps to this tutorial. Start with a circle for the head and add face guides. Next, draw the rest of the lining for the shoulders, arms, hat and torso as seen here.
Step 2
You will now start drawing the high collar that is part of Jiminy’s tuxedo suit as seen here, and then draw the shape of his left arm and hand. See how easy this is?
Step 3
Now we will start having fun. Draw the actual shape of his head and then draw the shape of Jiminy’s eyes and nose as you see here using the face guides you drew in step one. You can then start drawing out the shape of his top hat and then the rest of the jacket.
Step 4
Fill in the eyes and then draw the face and smile. You will then draw out the shape of the umbrella, complete the hat, and then draw his ankles and socks.
Step 5
This is your final drawing step and as you can see all you have to do is draw out the big round shoes he is so proud of. If you notice in the movie he always polishes his shoes and hat. Erase all guides and shapes, then move on to the final step to see what your freshly drawn Jiminy cricket looks like.
