Glasses Drawing step by step
Step 1. Sketch the Lenses
First, sketch the lenses by drawing two ovals with a certain distance between them, connected by the bridge.
Step 2. Draw the Frames
Starting from the outer edge of each lens, draw the frames with a slightly curved structure as shown in the illustration.
Step 3. Darken the Glasses
Use a pencil to further darken the details of the frames and lens edges. A dark 4B pencil is recommended.
Step 4. Add Nose Pads
Draw nose pads below the bridge, paying attention to the 3D effect of the glasses.
Step 5. Add Shadows
Next, to make the drawing of the glasses look realistic, add shadows of the glasses onto a flat surface. Note that the shadows should not be too dark, as shown in the illustration.
Step 6. Complete the drawing
Check and refine any flawed or incomplete details. Then, use a cotton swab or tissue to smooth out some details to make the pencil marks more even and smooth. This will help the drawing look more natural and realistic!
