Step 1
In this step, as you know, will show you how to draw guidelines for Daphne Blake. The finished drawing will look like a maid, but in reality it will be Daphne. Start at the top by drawing a small circle with the jaw line as the tip. Then draw a very short straight line for her neck. From the neck draw a line across the shoulders and arms. Draw two more larger circles, one for the chest and one for the hips. The hips will look like an apron when you draw a flared square for her dress. Then, from below the skirt line, draw two straight lines going down to the legs and two small circles for the knees.
Step 2
Now this is where you will start to fill in the frame of Daphne’s curvy body. Fill out the arms by lining the inside in a “V” direction toward her waist. Then outline the legs to make them look shapely and curvy. On the face sketch very lightly the lines for her eyes, nose and mouth. Now you can start drawing her cat eyes if you want. Sketch her hourglass figure and move on to step 3.
Step 3
Step 3 will be detailing and drawing the rest of her body. Starting from the head, sketch her long red hair and headband. Sketch facial features such as eyes, nose, and mouth. Daphne also wears a scarf so let’s draw the early stages of the film. Shape the bottom part of the leg and shoe, then draw the rest of the arm and hand.
Step 4
This is a very short and sweet step. You’ll just add some finishing touches. One is to finish her scarf, and the second step is to draw the lining along her dress. Finally draw the bows located on her stylish shoe. Once you’ve completed all of those objects, erase the guides and circles in your sketch.
Step 5
This is what Daphne Blake will look like when you’re done. Color her and call Scooby Doo to give him Scooby snacks. It was a great joy. Good job!
