Step 1
We will start this drawing lesson with some outline of our character. First of all, we sketch the head and body in the form of two pears. Next, using very light lines, we mark the arms and legs.
Step 2
In this step we will outline the most basic details. On top, we outline the eyes, nose, mustache, and ears. Next, outline the contours of the helmet and the long wings on the helmet. We move a little lower and outline a belt with a vase and a sword on it.
Step 3
Starting with this step, we will use clear and dark lines. Carefully draw oval eyes with rounded pupils. Next, carefully draw the nose, cheekbones, and long mustache.
Step 4
In this step we are done drawing the first part of Asterix. Carefully draw the eyebrows and the outline of the helmet. Next, carefully draw the wings on the helmet, big ears and hair. Don’t forget to remove all unnecessary instructions from the Asterix head.
Step 5
Now let’s go down a bit and start drawing the Asterix’s body. Carefully draw the shape of the body like in our example. Draw out the body, the vase and the sword. We remove all unnecessary guidelines and move on to the next step.
Step 6
So let’s draw the arms. Carefully draw the arms with clear and dark lines, as in our example. Remove all unnecessary tutorials from the arms and move on to the next step of the Asterix drawing tutorial.
Step 7
In this step we are finished drawing the body of the Asterix. Using clear and dark lines, carefully draw the legs, as shown in our example. Note that our character’s feet should be large enough. Delete all remaining rules and move on to the final step.
Step 8
The easiest step of this drawing lesson. Here we just need to color the eyebrows, the pupils and the top of the clothes with black.
