Emerald is a green gemstone widely used in jewelry making. This is a fairly hard mineral that is well suited for cutting. Emerald symbolizes success, love, fidelity, faith and courage. According to ancient legend, the emerald shows its owner the way to glory.

As you complete the cards, make sure that both sides of the gem are symmetrical. While working, you can use improvised tools, but I recommend drawing all the lines yourself. If you want the emerald to look more realistic, use different shades to paint the sides of the emerald and add highlights.

Emerald Drawing step by step

Step 1. Draw the top face of the emerald.
Using a few simple lines, draw polygons of the same shape as in the example.

Step 2. Draw the edges.
From the corners of the polygon, draw four even lines.

Step 3. Outline the top faces.
Draw three straight seams to end with closed lines.

Step 4. Start drawing the bottom.
Add two even line segments that converge at one point.

Step 5. Add the remaining sides.
Repeat the previous step and add two even lines on the sides.

Step 6. Color the drawing.
For coloring, use any shade of green.
