Step 1
To start the axolotl, we first need to draw two overlapping ovals. These overlapping ovals will become the head and stem of our axolotl.
Step 2
Next, draw two bead eyes with the iris and oval pupil inside each eye.
Step 3
To complete the axolotl’s face, draw two very small nostrils and a long line for the mouth below them.
Step 4
Next, draw three finger-length shapes that extend from each side of the ax. They will become carriers of axolotl.
Step 5
To complete the gills, draw some hair-like filaments that run along the edges of each gill side.
Step 6
Next, we will need to draw the upper part of the foreleg and the hind leg of the axolotl.
Step 7
Complete the legs of axolotl by drawing a four toes foot at the end of each leg.
Step 8
Draw a fairly elongated “S” tail that extends from the back of the ax’s body.
Step 9
Finally, draw a thin line that runs along the top and bottom of the ax to create a transparent fin.
