Step 1

Let’s start by creating two shapes, one for the body like an egg, and the other a simple circle that will be used for the head. Draw a neckline.

Step 2

Next, start sketching the structure of such a dog’s head and face, and you will also need to incorporate the shapes of the ears.

Step 3

Sketch the eyes closed, then draw the nose. You will lightly outline the details for the muzzle, the inside of the ears, and the center of the forehead.

Step 4

Complete the task of bringing the body out. Start at the back of the neck, then draw the lining for this sleeping dog pose. The body is curved and the tail hugs the body.

Step 5

Draw on the front and rear legs as well as the feet and foot pads. Add details to the thighs and elbows as you see here.

Step 6

Finish off your puppy by drawing the stomach, remaining front paw and paws, then the paw pads. Erase any mistakes you may have made along the way.

Step 7

When you’re done, your dog will come out looking great like you see here. Well done guys, now all you have to do is color it.
