Step 1

Start the koala by drawing the head. It is a broad ‘u’ shape with a small outer bump in the middle. This is the chin.

Step 2

Now we add the big nose. It has an egg shape in the middle of the head with a small ‘v’ at the bottom to make the nostrils. Add two small round eyes on the sides of the nose. Then add curls on both sides of the head.

Step 3

Just above the bun, draw two rounded ears. Join along with a line to complete the top.

Step 4

Next draw a large curve for the body. The curve around the right strong to make the butt. Start strong forearms just below the head. There are two fingers on both sides. Continue the back hand to make the upper arm thick.

Step 5

The hindquarters of the hind legs touch the bottom of the arm. Draw a smaller hind leg. It is wider but much shorter than the front leg. The back of the hind legs reaches the bottom of the rump.

Step 6

Draw two parallel lines connecting hind legs and forearms to create thick branches. From the right side of the face draw a line for the upper part of the second arm. Two fingers on the left side of the branch and two fingers on the other side. Add two toes from the hind legs just above the hindquarters.
