Step 1
Start koala by drawing the head. It is a wide ‘u’ shape with a slight bump in the middle. This is the chin.
Step 2
Now we add the big nose. It has an egg shape in the middle of the head with a small ‘v’ on the bottom to create the nostrils. Add two small round eyes on the sides of the nose. Then add a wavy bun on the sides of the head.
Step 3
Just above the bun draw two round ears. Join them with a line to the top end.
Step 4
Next draw a big curve for the body. The curves around the right are sharp to make the mess. Start the strong forearm just below the head. There are two fingers on either side of the hand. Continue pointing the way back to make the upper arm thick.
Step 5
The rounded edge of the hind legs touches the bottom of the arm line. Draw the smaller hind leg. It is wide but much shorter than the front legs. The back of the hind legs touches the bottom of the buttocks.
Step 6
Draw two parallel lines connecting the hind legs and forearms to create a thick branch. From the right side of the face draw a line for the upper part of the second arm. Two fingers on the left of the branch and two fingers on the other side. Add two round toes from the hind feet just above the hind legs.
