Step 1
Start with an egg for your shape which will be the heart. Once done, add a vertical line in the center, then an oblique line to the right and left of the shape.
Step 2
Now, using the center vertical line as a guide, start drawing your heart from the middle about 1/3 of the way down. If you do it right, you will have a perfect heart shape.
Step 3
Now it’s time to draw the base of the arrow as you see here. It will come out looking like a stick going through the heart. To emphasize the piercing, draw an indent on the surface of the heart and darken the lining at the base of the rod.
Step 4
All you have to do now is draw a feather at the tip of the arrow, then draw a triangular arrowhead. Add some details on top, then erase the principles and shapes you drew in step one.
Step 5
Here you have a very nice and neat finished drawing of a heart with arrows. Color, detail or add some extras if you want. Great job!
