Step 1

Start off by drawing a circle.

Step 2

Use a curve, around an oval, to form the ears on each side of the head.

Step 3

Remove the guides from the ears.

Step 4

Draw a series of curves, connected through the upper part of the circle, allowing these lines to meet at points. This makes the details of the girl’s hair easy to draw.

Step 5

Using a long, curved line, surround a circle and a circle on top of the head, from ear to ear.

Step 6

Delete the left guide from the original circle.

Step 7

Draw braids on each side of the girl’s head. For each braid, draw two curves that extend from the top, meeting each other at a sharp point.

Step 8

Stretch two short lines from the bottom of the cute girl’s head. Connect the lines with a short, curved line.

Step 9

Stretch a short, straight line from each side of the neck. From these lines extend a long curve downwards.

Step 10

Connect the long curves with another curve. Draw an almost rectangular shape around the neck of the easy-to-draw girl.

Step 11

Stretch the two soft diagonal curves from the cute girl’s left shoulder.

Step 12

Stretched two lines from the right shoulder, creating a mirror image.

Hand drawn at the end of each arm. For each hand, draw a number of seams, overlapping to form the fingers.

Stretch the four curves from the bottom of the easy to draw girl shape. These lines will form the legs.

Draw a foot at the bottom of each leg by enclosing the shape with a curve.

Draw a curve on the top of each foot to form the shoe.

Draw the eyebrows using two curves. The lines should meet at a sharp point at each end.

Draw two large circles in the middle of the face. Draw a “U” shaped line for the nose and a curve to create a smile for the cute girl. Place a dot at each end of the smiley line. Draw a curve below the smile to indicate the chin.

Draw a curve to add more detail inside each ear. Draw one smaller circle inside each eye and two smaller circles in the inner circle. Shade the area between the small circles and the inner circle. Draw a series of curves on the body.

Color your cartoon girl. Does she have blonde, brown, black or red hair? Is her skin pale or dark, and what color is her eye color? What does her dress look like? It’s all up to you, so be creative!
