Step 1

In this first step, you’ll start by drawing guide lines and circles to of course form the frame for Sylvester. Start by drawing an egg-shaped nose tilted to the side, then draw his puffy cat cheeks on each side of the nose. After that, the only shapes left to draw are his giant feet and hands. After you’ve sketched those shapes, draw all the guides attached to one shape and another.

Step 2

As you can see after completing this step you will see the shape of Sylvester. Starting from the top as always, draw the top shape of the cat’s head and detail the cheeks by adding jagged edges as shown. Now draw the shape of his eyes and the shape of his nose and mouth according to the shape you drew in step 1. Now draw the shape of his body including arms, legs, feet and tail.

Step 3

In this step all you will do is give Sylvester some small details by drawing his eyelids and the inner lining of his ears. Now let’s paint some whiskers and lining on his belly to give him two tones of black and white. That should do for this step, now you can move on to the next step.

Step 4

In this final step, color in Sylvester’s eyes and last minute sketches along his cat’s lower body. After your drawing looks like the image above, delete all the guides and shapes that you drew in step 1.

Step 5
