Big Cat Drawing step by step
Step 1. Sketch the big cat’s head
First, we draw the big cat’s head, with its mouth, nose, ears and eyes. The big cat’s head for this drawing is actually very simple, just using a few simple strokes as shown in the illustration.
Step 2. Draw the front legs
Next, from the big cat’s neck, we extend it down to the front legs, the feet with short toes and hidden claws inside. Drawing the legs also helps to complete the tiger’s chest.
Step 3. Add the back
The back of the tiger in a sitting position should simply be a curve from the neck down below, it has some lines for the fur, it is not completely smooth as shown in the illustration.
Step 4. The hind legs
Next, draw the belly and hind legs of the big cat, its hind legs are very strong and similar to the front legs, it has quite short toes but has very sharp and strong claws.
Step 5. Draw the tail
Draw the big cat’s tail in an upward curve, a characteristic of most felines.
Step 6. Add whiskers and head details
Draw the tiger’s whiskers and mustache, and also have long hairs above its eyes. Add details to the ears and stripes on the head.
Step 7. Add striping details
Continue adding striping details to the cat’s body, as it is characteristic of a tiger.
Step 8. Color
Finally, color your mighty big cat (tiger).
