Step 1
First, draw the head, with long muzzle it open wide mouth, low, like crocodile. Baryonyx is one of the few known dinosaurs to eat fish and its mouth develops for this purpose only.
Step 2
Draw the eyes and face by tracing a line along the opening of the mouth, to show the inside and a small circle to the eye. Baryonyx does not have big teeth like other big dinosaurs.
Step 3
Body drawing, starting with a lower starting curve on the body than any other dinosaur, leads to a high back.
Step 4
Draw forelegs like angled, narrow arms with very sharp claws at both ends.
Step 5
Draw hind legs, very long, with large thighs and low legs. You may want to break it into a series of curves, bent for the thighs, knees, legs and ankles. Feet big and tall, with three pointed toes.
Step 6
Draw a tail straight out from behind with a small curve. The tail is long and narrow to balance.
Step 7
Finally color the dinosaur, blue for the back and gray for the rest.
